CBC Issues a Correction to Barton's Disinformation!

You just have to 'dig' to find it.

Well, well, well. This is something of a miracle. Perhaps the many people who commented on social media or who wrote to the CBC have made them come clean.

However, it should be noted that this is on a ‘back page’ of ‘Corrections’ where almost no one will see it.

Remains of 215 children found buried at former B.C. residential school, First Nation says

It was still repeating 'remains' in its 3 June 2021 article, updated 4 June 2021 (copy attached).

The Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation announced last week that preliminary findings from a survey conducted by a specialist in ground-penetrating radar indicated the remains of around 215 children could be buried on the site.

The CBC can't be allowed to get away with a correction pretending it has always said 'potential burial sites' or 'unmarked graves'.

Nina writes, it's likely the CBC had advance notice of the Kamloops Band's media release through Angela Sterritt. Tanya Talaga stated in her recent book, The Knowing, that 'select journalists' received advance notice of the Kamloops Band's media release, as I mentioned in my article Tanya Talaga has let the cat out of the bag.

That select group almost certainly included someone from the CBC, likely Angela Sterritt. Sterritt was one of only a few journalists who were allowed access to Chief Casimir's video press conference on 4 June 2021, and published this article. This was the news conference at which a panicky-sounding Racelle Kooy forbade live-streaming, with the result that the video has not ever been seen. Angela Sterritt also posted about the 4 June 2021 video conference on Twitter.

Angela Sterriitt's interview with Jayme Poisson on 1 June 2021 suggests Sterritt was in Kamloops very soon after the announcement.

So, maybe CBC has a lot more to correct and apologize for? Like traumatizing all of Canada, damaging our reputation worldwide, and not doing any due diligence.
