The blood libel is too rich a vein for deplorable activists to staunch now, and the appetite to self flagellate too strong for a cohort of otherwise ethically vapid people to feel empowered with virtue... even if it damns every future generation of this country to always be ashamed by inheritance alone. And these folk promoting and defending this malignant and toxic fiction believe themselves to be patriots while assigning sedition to those of us who don't. We know we've entered the Twilight Era of a broken country when respecting what's true is deemed 'denialism'.

Another excellent essay, Michelle.

Mrs. Logan’s letter is heartbreaking.

I have had the pleasure of interacting with Mr. McCrae on a few occasions over the last few years. I find him to be a kind, thinking, and intelligent man. There is a lot wrong across the country right now. Manitoba is leading the pack in self-inflicted harm. I think a school board declining Mr. McCrae’s offer to be involved is scoring an own goal, and is contributing to Manitoba’s increasing failure of its citizens.
